Ideal-Tek (242SVR.SA) Tweezer, Component Positioning, ESD, PVDF Tip, 130mm
Product Information: Tweezer Type: Replaceable Tip, ESD Safe Tweezer Tip Type: Straight, Round Overall Length: 130mm Tip Style: Style 242 Tweezer Body Material: Stainless Steel Body Tweezer Tip Material: Plastic Tip Product Range: - Product Overview: The 242SVR.SA from Ideal-Tek is an anti-magnetic anti-acid stainless steel body tweezer with ESD PVDF (SV) tips and plastic replaceable tips. This tweezer features durable and self aligning replacement tips, antimagnetic stainless steel handles. Excellent for handling sensitive electronic components, ceramic and glass parts where non metallic nonscratching is critical. It contains from 16.5 to 18.5wt% chromium and has important quantities of nickel and molybdenum as additional alloying elements. It also features smooth surface, resistant to UV and nuclear radiation (sterilisation). It has excellent chemical resistance to most aggressive substances (mineral, organic acid) and solvents (hydrocarbons, alcohols, halogenated). It has 120MPa tensile strength +23°C (ASTM D638), 150MPa flexural strength +23°C (ASTM D790). Typical applications include electronic industry, watch-makers, jewellers, microscopy and laboratory and medical applications in moderately aggressive chemical environments. - Overall length is 5" (130mm), flat round small tips, offers a significant cost savings - PVDF polyvinylidene fluoride carbon fibre reinforced, continuous use temperature up to 150°C - Heat stabilized, good heat capability, non-magnetizable, <=215 hardness HB30, 79 hardness rockwell B - ESD safe material (avoid powder attraction, sparks generation, ignition sources) - 40% elongation, break, 200Gpa modulus of elasticity, high abrasion resistant - High purity, 7500MPa flexural modulus +23°C (ASTM D790), 8000Mpa tensile modulus +23°C (ASTM D638) 0.75 E-4 ohm.cm resistivity, 8.0g - cm³ density, excellent mechanical strength and toughness - 110J - m izod-impact strength (notched) +23°C (ASTM D256), annealed state, 8.0g - cm³ density - 82 shore D hardness per ASTM D2240, resistant to halogens - Generally used where corrosion resistance and toughness are primary requirements
