Product Overview The MAX202CSE+T is a +5V, RS232 transceiver with four 0.1µF external capacitors in 16 pin NSOIC package. It is a RS232 and V.28 transceiver with integrated charge pump circuitry for single +5V supply operation. It consists of three sections such as charge pump voltage converters, drivers (transmitters) and receivers. The integrated charge pump circuitry eliminates the need for bipolar ±12V supply and enables single supply operation from +5V or 9V to +12V. The driver maintains the ±5V EIA/TIA-232E output signal levels at data rates in excess of 120Kbps when loaded in accordance with the EIA/TIA-232E specification.
