The ARM Cortex-M4 core offers single-cycle Multiply-Accumulate and SIMD instructions and a hardware floating-point unit to support signal processing while the M0 coprocessor handles I/O and digital control processing. The device incorporates 200kB internal RAM, one high speed USB 2.0 Host/OTG/Device, 8-channel 10-bit A/D converter, 10-bit D/A converter and 83 general-purpose I/O pins. This device also features peripherals like four UARTs, two I2C, three SPI modules and two I2S. The ARM Cortex-M0 coprocessor is code and tool compatible with the Cortex-M4 core.
