The 101 PHR-ST series electrolytic capacitor provides pressure relief in the sealing and low ESR. In general, aluminium capacitor is the most suitable capacitors for addressing requirements such as low and high frequency filtering and energy storage, which demand high capacitance values and power ratings. The device offers high CU/(unit cost) ratios, is small compared with other technologies and is relatively insensitive to voltage spikes. An electrochemically etched aluminium anode foil forms the first plate of the capacitor. An oxide layer on the etched aluminium foil that forms the dielectric. A paper spacer impregnated with fluid electrolyte in contact with the oxide layer to form the second plate of the capacitor. A second foil that forms the other contact with the fluid electrolyte.
