The 136 RVI series electrolytic capacitor provides excellent ripple current capability. In general, aluminium capacitor is the most suitable capacitor for addressing requirements such as low and high frequency filtering and energy storage, which demand high capacitance values and power ratings. The device offers high CU/(unit cost) ratios, is small compared with other technologies and is relatively insensitive to voltage spikes. An electrochemically etched aluminium anode foil forms the first plate of the capacitor. An oxide layer on the etched aluminium foil that forms the dielectric.
