Analog Multiplexer / Demultiplexer, 8:1, 1 Circuit, 240 ohm, 80 nA, 3V to 20V, SOIC-16 Product Overview The CD4051BM is a single 8-channel Analog Multiplexer having three binary control inputs, A, B and C and an inhibit input. The three binary signals select 1 of 8 channels to be turned on and connect one of the 8 inputs to the output. The device is digitally-controlled analog switches having low ON impedance and very low OFF leakage current. These multiplexer circuits dissipate extremely low quiescent power over the full VDD-VSS and VDD-VEE supply-voltage ranges, independent of the logic state of the control signals. When logic 1 is present at the inhibit-input terminal, all channels are off. 125R (typical) Low ON resistance over 15VP-P 18V Signal input range for VDD - VEE High OFF Resistance, Channel Leakage of ±100pA (Typical) at VDD - VEE = 18V Logic-level conversion for digital addressing signals Binary address decoding on chip 100% Tested for quiescent current at 20V 1µA Maximum input current at 18V over full package temperature range, 100nA at 18V and 25°C Break-before-make switching eliminates channel overlap Applications Signal Processing, Automation & Process Control, Consumer Electronics, Sensing & Instrumentation Product Information Multiplexer Configuration: 8:1 No. of Circuits: 1Circuits On State Resistance Max: 240ohm Supply Voltage Range: 3V to 20V Analogue Multiplexer Case: SOIC No. of Pins: 16Pins Operating Temperature Min: -55°C Operating Temperature Max: 125°C MSL: MSL 1 - Unlimited
