8:1 Analog Multiplexer/Demultiplexer IC, Single, 160 ohm, 2V to 6V, SOIC-16 roduct Overview The CD74HC4051M is a Digitally Controlled Analog Switch that use silicon gate CMOS technology to achieve operating speeds similar to LSTTL with the low-power consumption of standard CMOS integrated circuits. These analog multiplexers and demultiplexers control analog voltages that may vary across the voltage supply range (for example, VCC to VEE). They are bidirectional switches that allow any analog input to be used as an output and vice versa. The switches have low ON resistance and low OFF leakages. In addition, all these devices have an enable control that, when high, disables all switches to their OFF state. ±5V Maximum wide analog input voltage range 7R Typical (VCC-VEE = 4.5V), 40R Typical (VCC-VEE = 9V) low ON resistance Low crosstalk between switches Fast switching and propagation speeds Break-before-make switching 0 to 10V Switch voltage VIL = 0.8V Maximum, VIH = 2V Minimum Direct LSTTL input logic compatibility CMOS input compatibility II <=1 µA at VOL, VOH Applications Signal Processing, Automation & Process Control, Consumer Electronics, Sensing & Instrumentation Product Information Multiplexer Configuration: 8:1 No. of Circuits: 1Circuits On State Resistance Max: 160ohm Supply Voltage Range: 2V to 6V Analogue Multiplexer Case: SOIC No. of Pins: 16Pins Operating Temperature Min: -55°C Operating Temperature Max: 125°C Product Range: 74HC MSL: MSL 1 - Unlimited
