Hall Effect Sensor, Bipolar, 20 mA, TO-92, 3 Pins, 3.8 V, 30 V Product Overview The SS411A is a temperature compensated digital hall effect sensor IC in 3 pin TO-92 package. This small, versatile digital hall effect device is operated by magnetic field from permanent magnet or an electromagnet. It is designed to respond to alternating north and south poles or to south pole only. Band gap regulation provides stable operation over 3.8VDC to 30VDC supply voltage range. The SS411A is capable of continuous 20mA sinking output and may be cycled as high as 50mA maximum. Its 3.8V capability allows for use in many potential low voltage applications. The digital, open collector sinking type output is easily interfaced with wide variety of electronic circuits. Bipolar magnetics, low gauss operating characteristics Straight leads, 14.99mm long and 1.30mm spacing Quad hall IC design minimizes mechanical stress effects Temperature compensated magnetics helps provide stable operation over a wide temperature range Automated component placement and potentially reduces installation costs Broad supply voltage capability from 3.8VDC to 30VDC for application flexibility Digital, open collector sink output for easy interfacing with variety of common electronic circuits Operating temperature range from -40°C to 150°C (-40°F to 302°F) Applications Sensing & Instrumentation, Medical, Industrial, Robotics, Motor Drive & Control Product Information Hall Effect Type: Bipolar Output Current: 20mA Sensor Case Style: TO-92 No. of Pins: 3Pins Supply Voltage Min: 3.8V Supply Voltage Max: 30V Operating Temperature Min: -40°C Operating Temperature Max: 150°C
